Weight Loss Week 3

I am a month away from my half marathon. And I'm feeling really good! I've gone running in the snow and the rain. Then I looked up a half marathon training guide, and it suggest running every other day. So, that's what I'll be doing. I'll run on Monday, Wednesday and then go for a long run on Saturday.

I keep forgetting to do my other workouts. Maybe now that I have a schedule, I'll do those on my off days. I can see the fat melting away, but I need to tone. I need my abs back!

I've been doing really well with hitting my two pounds a week goal. I'm two weeks shy of hitting my pre-pregnancy weight! Actually, I think I have already hit it, because I think I gained about 5 pounds right before I got pregnant with Dexter. But, I like to think I was still 162. LOL!

I did the math, and if I stay with my two pounds a week goal, by my birthday I will be below what I was in high school! I am motivated now. I really want to be healthy and all that jazz. I also want to be able to eat whatever (with lots of moderation) knowing that I can work out to get rid of the extra calories.

Poor Steve. He has been faithfully doing the Kinect EA Active for three weeks now. And he has gained MORE weight. He's cut out the soda, drinking lots of water, eating right. We think it's muscle, I can see him getting rid of that spare tire. I keep telling him to just start running, but he wants to be fit first. I think he just doesn't want to go for that first mile run and come home dieing. He is a runner, after all. But the only way he is going to get better at running, is to just run. Oh well. I think he said he wanted to go running tomorrow before he has some scouting stuff to do.

So, for this weeks (and last weeks) stats. I'm feeling good, looking good and can't wait to not have a fat looking Mii! LOL!

Starting Weight: 176
Last Weeks Weight: 170
This Weeks Weight: 166
Total Loss This Week: -4
