First Foods

This is for you, Daddy!

Yes, you are right. That is a McDonald's french fry that my husband is shoving into my baby boy's mouth. He did wipe off all the salt first.

Don't worry, no french fry was actually eaten by Dexter. He just "nursed" it, didn't get anything out of it. And I'm not planning on start solids for a while. 4 months is just too early.

I put off solids b/c it was just so much easier for me!

Though my boys all had fries while still babies and they're all okay. :)

I gave Jennsen spicy butternut squash soups at 4 months and she loved it! She started eating solids twice a day at about 5 months - I think she's just too hungry not too! Or maybe just feels left out when we are eating!

Funny what dads do, isn't it? I think all dads love sneaking food to babies. So funny.

I love how you put the disclaimer. Dad's are good at making kid's love them. Hard to believe he is already 4 months! Those newborns grow so fat then they're not my own.

Give that baby a fry!!!

My son started cereal at 4.5 months and my daughter didn't start until 8 months. Every kid is different...as you know!

You know I hated McD's french fries as a kid.

Isn't that the most ridiculous thing you've ever heard??
