First off, IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Second, it's We Want to Know Wednesday hosted by the great Mamarazzi and Queso!

This week, Mamarazzi wants to know:

{1} Did you live in the same town or move around a lot as a child?
{2} What were your parents like?
{3} Do you have any siblings? What were they like growing up?
{4} Share a short story from your childhood.
{5} What did you look like?

{1} Did you live in the same town or move around a lot as a child?
I have moved around a lot. I have moved 22 time in my 28 years. Here's the list of the places I have lived:
Oroville, WA   Entiat, WA   Soap Lake, WA   Chelan, WA   The Dalles, OR   Connell, WA
Gig Harbor, WA   Tacoma, WA   Kent, WA   Sunnyside, WA   Bellingham, WA   Auburn, WA
North Logan, UT   Logan, UT   Beaverton, OR

In some cities, we moved a few times within those cities. When we lived in Sunnyside, I
figured out that we would move my senior year, we were moving every two years at that point. I asked my parents if we could just stay in Sunnyside until after I graduated from high school.
They agreed, and so we stayed in Sunnyside until then. They lived there until after I got married a year after I graduated from high school.

{2} What were your parents like?
Overprotective! It must have been because I was the baby, and a girl. And having lost their eldest when I was ten, I guess they wanted to protect me. I wasn't fine with that at the time, but looking back, it's ok. They also made it a point to tell me that they loved me everyday. Hugs and kisses were in demand. I had no doubt that I was loved!

{3} Do you have any siblings? What were they like growing up?
I have 4 siblings. Two halves that lived with their mother in New York and who are WAY older than me. I think Brenda is in her 50's now. Or at least, close to it. I have never met Billy. Because of the lies told to them by their mother, he was too young to remember Daddy, so he believed her and he doesn't want anything to do with our Dad. Brenda was the one who introduced the Church to my parents in the 70's. She was at my wedding!
Duane, me and Brenda on my wedding day!

Then, I have two older brothers. Shell and Duane. They were 18 and 16 (almost 19 and 17) when I was born. Shell was in college and Duane a senior in high school. Shell loved me the most. lol! No really, he did. Duane was insanely jealous and upset that his parents ruined his senior year by having a daughter. So, Duane and I have never really gotten along. Not until Shell died in '94, that things started getting better. And even more so, now that I'm married and have kids of my own. It was only last summer, that Duane admitted to me that he was jealous and has different memories of Shell. And all that. It was good. We don't communicate to one another. Unless it's through Facebook. And that is once in a blue moon.
I was pretty much raised as an only child. Duane and Shell didn't come home much. Shell and I got along the best. He actually wanted to spend time with his little sister. I'm not sure if Duane did, but I remember him being there for my 5th birthday. And a few Christmas's, but that's it.

{4} Share a short story from your childhood.
When we lived in Connell, I was a little tom boy. The week we were moving to Gig Harbor, Shell was over helping us pack. All I had left was dresses. So, while playing outside with my friends, we started a baseball game. I was the catcher. My dress was getting in the way, so I took it off and was just in my slip. Shell looked outside and yelled for Mom. She then yelled at me to get my butt in the house now! LOL! Oops. But I really couldn't play baseball in a dress!

{5} What did you look like?
Like a dork! LOL!
This is the only photo I have on my computer of me. I was 2 years old. Shell is on the left and Duane on the right. My mom used to perm my hair. I looked like Shirley Temple. Then I got a boy hair cut when I was 7. I hated it. Even though it was my choice. lol!

Wow you moved a ton! I am afraid my kids will end up saying the same thing when they are older. Lucas is 6 and has lived in 3 different states and 4 different cities.
So sorry about your brother.
