Today was the first day back to school.

YAY!

I love my kid. I really do.

But life is a little easier when he is at school.

Jake just has so much energy.

And no, none were adopted. Steve's sister is married to a half-Chinese guy.

That makes his kiddos 1/4 Chinese.

I think they are the cutest kids!

In true Sara fashion,

this is a totally random string of thoughts.

Good news is, the kids are pretty much better.

Bad news is, I can't talk.

My throat is so sore, it hurts to drink, eat and talk.

Breathing hurts.

And I cry every time I cough.

I HATE HATE HATE being sick.

I just want to be better and take care of my family.

Is that really too much to ask?

At least Steve is home to take care of us all.

Although, tomorrow I'm on my own for a bit.

Our brakes are failing.

They are making a nasty noise every time we hit the brakes.

So, he's going to Les Schwab to get them replaced.

I get to stay home and watch the kids.

At least Jake will be at school!
