SNOW!!!

Yesterday it started to snow around 1. I was so excited!! Having moved from "the greatest snow on earth" (if you ask me, too much snow on earth!) it was a little weird to have a non-white Christmas and no snow at all for all of winter. All I really wanted was a white Christmas. I'll take what I can get when I can get it!

This is it just starting to snow around 1.

After getting the kids ready, Daddy coming home, it was around 2:30 and this is how much snow had come down. The kids had a blast playing (and eating) the snow!

Jake really wanted to build a snowman, but we didn't have the right type of gloves to do that. He had lots of fun anyway!

Zoe was the one eating the snow. She really liked going down the slide all super fast too. Isn't she cute?

Leo was also eating the snow. He too, liked going do the slide fast too. I love the face he is making.

Teage was sleeping when the kids went out with Daddy, but he woke up, so we went outside to see the kids play. Teage was just cute. He didn't like wearing the coat, but settled down when I got him in the wrap. Only bad thing, I forgot to wear a scarf, so the snow was going down my shirt landing on, well, you know! But Steve was my hero and ran back upstairs to get me my scarf!

My hero! Sorry it's blurry, I had gloves on and it wasn't taking a photo (we had to use our phone camera because our real camera broke and is now being repaired. It broke on the 23rd, LAME!)

Here we are. It's the best picture we could manage. I think this is our first family photo as a family as 6!

There was another family playing with us. They were from Peru and this was their second time seeing and playing in the snow. We gladly took a family photo of them as well.

All in all, I think we got about 3 inches. It was really wet snow. Just enough to make me happy. And now it's raining and melting away. As it should, because now it's ugly snow. I only like pretty snow!
