Status Update

First, I want to apologize for all the boring blogs about Steve and our finding a job situation. But, I feel like this is better than telling the story everyday. Anyways, we heard from Deloitte. It's good and bad news. Bad news first, Steve didn't get an interview with them. Good news, he didn't need one. The recruited said that b/c last year Steve made it all the way to 2nd (office) interviews, and b/c Steve got picked to get a scholarship from them, that they know he's awesome. So they just forwarded Steve's info and a recommendation to the Portland office. So the other bad news though, Deloitte West Region (Washington, Oregon, California, Utah, Arizona) all had the Merrill Lynch and Washington Mutual. They no longer have those accounts and therefore had to let go a few employees. Which like never happens. So, we're onto a 2nd (office) interview, only if they'll have him. The Salt Lake Office is not hiring any full timers right now. So yeah, that's where we are at right now. It kind of looks like we'll be going for PwC and E&Y now. Anyways, Steve's interview with PwC is Monday. So, pray for him, keep him in your thoughts and wish him luck! Thanks for all the support!
