I have found our dream home!! Isn't it beautiful? This home is located in Bellingham, WA on Chuckanut Drive. Which, for all you Utah and non-Bellingham people, is the most beautiful drive; from just north of Burlington to Old Fairhaven (the old part of Bellingham). You have the most amazing views of Chuchanut Bay, Skagit Valley and the San Juan Islands. Anywho, back to the house. It's only a cool $1,675,00. It's 5 bedrooms and 3.75 baths and 5,127 SQ. FT.
"Kayak into the sunset from prime saltwater no-bank waterfront with Bay and San Juan Islands view...updated home on approx .57 fully landscaped acres...sauna & study. Dining room, family room, workout room, formal living room with wetbar. Meditation garden, 2 decks, boat house on pristine cove, floating dock potential. 10 minutes to Fairhaven & WWU, 5 minutes to Larrabee State Park and fabulous hiking and biking." But it has the most amazing view ever! Look at that kitchen. Now, who wouldn't want a kitchen like that? Especially after living in Aggie Village. And we'll be here for a total of two years, I'm so ready for a house. Anywho, what really makes me wet my pants is the following views. I really want to have this house because of the views. (Now I know, we'll never get this house, unless Steve makes partner very fast and is making a lot of money!)
Now who wouldn't want to wake up to that view? That's the master bedroom. Can you just imagine the sunsets you would get to see? Or how it would sound like when you have a wonderful rain storm? I just love it. And so private. Then, Steve and I can have our naked dance party in our room, without having to worry about the neighbors seeing us. Unless, they are in a canoe and are looking up at our house. But even then, they would need binoculars. Just kidding. If you can't tell, which I don't think you can, but the owners now are either Japanese or really like that culture, because the house is decorated in that style. Which is fine with me. I really like Japanese style. Now, this next view is what really gets me going. I would kill for this!
Ok ladies, who wouldn't want to take a bath with that view? I just love, love that tub! You could definitely fit two people in that sucker! And I just love how it's raised up and is the center of the bathroom. Steve is always complaining how small our bathroom is and can't wait until we can have a place with two sinks.
So that way we can both get ready at the same time. Doesn't work really well with the sink and bathroom we have now. And it has a huge walk-in-closet. And if you need a quite place to read your scriptures, or pray or whatever. How about this room?
See the Japanese decor? Isn't this the most peaceful room you have ever seen (except for the Celestial Room in the Temple. I love that room!)? I could totally see myself locking myself in there to get some peace and quite and just becoming closer to the Savior. So, that's my dream home. Someday, I really hope we can have something that beautiful with all those amazing views. The past few days, I've been looking at homes that we could possibly buy (hopefully in the next year or so) and thought I would go day dreaming. I didn't know that I would find something that would make me crave for it almost everyday. We still don't know where we're going to go in December. But we've found an accounting firm in Bellingham that would probably pay more than the big 4 firms. And since, we would love to live back in the city, or Ferndale, where we fell in love, I've been looking at homes in those areas. Plus, it wouldn't hurt to get back with family. Steve's brother Kevin, lives in Ferndale and his sister Ciera, lives in Bellingham. And his dad just moved from Ferndale to Moses Lake. Bad timing, but at least we would have family and some friends still up there. Plus, we would be a lot closer to Steve's mom and other siblings. But, we still need to pray about it. And we're planning on going to the Temple soon, so if anyone is willing to watch our kids, let us know, so we can go to the Temple. Anyways, hope you enjoy the house, and may it bring you as much joy in the beauty that is around it, that it did me.
