Spring Break...

...is suppose to be warm and sunny. You know, Spring. Ahh, but that would be asking too much of the Gods to actually have Spring in Logan during Spring Break. I say this because, here it is, the beginning of Spring Break in Logan and it snowed this morning. And it's suppose to snow pretty much all week. Now, for most people, this wouldn't be a problem because they are going to Mexico, or California, or Miami, but not the Richins. We have never done anything fun for Spring Break. My very first Spring Break at Western, what did I do?? I stayed on campus and worked 40 hours. Our first Spring Break here in Logan, I can't even remember what we did. I think we just stayed home and Steve worked a ton at Lowe's. And you would think that since this is our last Spring Break, we would do something fun. Well, if you call having a baby fun, then there you go! We really can't do much because Leo will only be 2 weeks old. We were planning on going to Steve's Grandma Helen's in Idaho Falls (which, by the way, is having the same weather or worse as Logan is) but Steve is really sick. We thought it was a sinus infection, but he went to the doctors (can't wait to see the bill because he isn't on Medicaid. Hopefully that'll change soon) and she really didn't say what it was. And didn't say to stay away from the baby either. But the doctor said it's probably not the flu, which is very good. So we're really sad that we didn't get to see Grandma Helen. We live so close and hardly ever see her. It's sad. But we'll try to do better.
Onto other things, the kids. We have the greatest kids ever!! Jake and Zoe love Leo. They aren't jealous of him, they aren't acting out or anything. They love their little brother and love to hold and kiss him. Leo is an awesome baby! He hardly cries. He's sleeping most of the night. Now, by most baby books, sleeping through the night is midnight to five. Well, he does that. So I guess you can say, Leo is sleeping through the nights! It's great. And he's having more awake time. And now that I'm not engorged, our feedings are going great! All in all, my kids are the greatest kids ever!! So many people have said that going from 2 to 3 kids is really hard and most people stop after 3. We even heard that when we were going from 1 to 2 kids. But honestly, we don't think it's hard. For us, having Leo as our third is what people say having a forth is like. Just adding another child. 3 seems easier than 2. Maybe it's because Jake and Zoe go into their room and play together so well. I don't know, but I can't figure out what all the fuss is about having 3 kids. And truly, after having a couple of newborns, they aren't so bad or hard to take care of. Maybe I  just have wonderful kids, or I'm a really great mom (Steve is the greatest dad ever though!), but having these kids isn't that bad. They truly are the best ever!!
