I made it through the weekend with OUT having a baby.
BOO!!!!
In the past, I usually only go a few days past this 39 week mark.
Steve is thinking Thursday.
This weekend has been an adventure for us.
On Thursday, we got our lease renewal notice.
Spoke to management, and they said they don't count people until they are 2 years old.
That means, we can stay here for at least another year.
It's a good thing too, with all these doctor bills and other stuff, we haven't been able to save for a move.
So, we'll be staying here for at least another year.
And I'm ok with that.
But for that to work, we needed to rearrange some rooms.
We put all the kids in one room.
Yup, 4 kids, 2 bunk beds and ALL their toys all in one room.
Zoe and Leo's bunk beds in front
Jake and Teage's in the back.
I promise this is NOT how this room has been looking.
It was clean when I got up this morning, but fighting over the shopping cart with Teage, landed it on Zoe's bed. And they decided to play with their toys and not pick up when they were done, when I was in the shower.
All of their toys. Can you believe that there was A LOT more? YIKES!!!

We had to purge a lot of stuff to make it work, but it works!
The other room, is now the nursery/guest room/where all the kids clothes are.
There is so much room in there.
Baby's crib.
Ok, This is NOT the crib stuff I was going to make. I just don't feel like sewing anymore.
So all sewing will be done in a few weeks while Steve is home for paternity leave.
This is Teage's set.
And we got rid of about 60% of their stuff animals and this is what is left after letting the kids put some on their beds. I hate that we don't use the cradle my Dad made us, but our kids hate small places after they are born.
And yes, Zoe's butterflies are still hanging up. We need to take those down soon.
We need dresser, badly. Teage's clothes are in the "baby" dresser, and the baby's clothes are on top.
It works. All the other kid's dressers are in this room as well, along with the closet full of their clothes.
Inside the crib with Dexter's quilt. It works with Teage's stuff!
Can't wait to see what it looks like with Dex's crib stuff!!

We also spent the weekend cleaning the whole house.
It's all clean! I'm caught up on laundry and dishes.
All the rooms are clean.
It's nice!
And we are all sick.
Steve got really sick yesterday and is having a bad day today.
(It's his birthday today, so he took the day off already...Good thing cuz I wasn't going to let him go to work this sick)
Jake woke up worse today than he has in the last month.
Zoe has a cough.
Leo's nose won't stop running and still has the cough, but not as bad.
Teage has a sometimes runny nose and a small cough.
And I'm still congested.
Not a good time to be having a baby.
I'm hoping for a miracle and we all get better tomorrow!
So that's what's going on at 39 weeks.
All my contractions that I was having last week, have gone away.
I barely get them now.
Steve is calling it the "calm before the storm".
I'm seeing it as I'll be pregnant forever.
But I'm feeling good and all.
Just wish I had a baby already!
We also spent two hours at the DMV today. Steve's license expired today.
The kids were good. And this nice lady switched us numbers so we wouldn't have to wait forever.
What a life saver she was! Thank you random older lady!!
Steve passed the written....I didn't.
Why couldn't it be open book like Utah's was???????
And yes, we have waited almost 2 years to get Oregon Driver's Licenses. I know, bad. Very very bad.
I'll go back and take the written while Steve is home again.
I guess I'll be studying during those late night feedings.

Oh my goodness!!!!!!!! You're so close! I can't wait to see baby's debut! And how fun to have the nursery all ready, too. Your kids are gonna maul that baby!!! :)
I was just about to send you an e-mail to see if Dexter arrived when I saw my Reader update!
Dexter seems to really be enjoying himself in there, doesn't he know people are eagerly awaiting his arrival??
I'm sorry you all are sick again!
I probably would've waited even longer over the driver's license thing. I keep saying I need to update my address but ugh...who cares?
Yoohoo, Baby Dex, come out now! Your Mamma is tired, and feeling yucky, and the rest of the world can't wait to meet you.
This kid sure knows how to make an entrance, that is for sure. I hope everyone feels better soon. And by soon I mean now. And happy birthday to Steve.
Good luck with your test.
I've been wondering about you. ALMOST DONE!!! SO exciting!! Everything will be just fine..don't worry, just relax and try to enjoy!
wow! sounds like you're almost ready for baby dexter!! i like the kiddos all in one room. after my teen stepdaughter goes to college (in 4 years) and we add another babe to the family, i'd like to have a sleeping room and a toy room...take care of yourself! stock up on that sleep!
Come Out come out! Hang in there mama. Sending labor wishes your way, I'm excited to see your sweet sweet new lil man. :)
