A First

I realized something today.
Teage is the oldest baby that we have.
Let me explain.

Jake was 20 months old (ok, a day short of being 20 months) when Zoe was born.

Jake checking out Zoe for the first time.

Zoe was 19 months when Leo was born.

Zoe holding Leo one his first day home.

And Leo was 17 months old when Teage was born.

Leo, Zoe and Teage along with Grandma and Mommy.

Teage is now 20 months old.

And baby Dexter won't be here for another couple of months.
Teage will almost be 2 years old before Dexter gets here.

It's so weird to have a baby so old without a new little one here.
And it doesn't help that he's so little.

I realized that today while he was having a melt down and I picked him up and held him close and he just nestled right into me. He's my oldest baby and it's weird.
But a good weird.
Maybe Teage just needs to be the baby for a little bit longer then the other kids.
Whatever the reason, I'm glad he's MY baby!

But I can't wait to have a new one around.
And have cute little fluffy diapers on a cute little bum!

You are living my dream. If only I could convince my husband that many kids is a great thing. Sigh. You are my hero.

How sweet! My husband wants kids soon so bad, and if I keep looking at your blog he just might talk me into it ;)

That is so funny I have been thinking of this very same thing lately. I am usually a few months into pregnancy when my littlest turns 18 months. I am not pregnant nor am I going to get to be for a while. I am all kinds of sad. Hopefully I will get at least one more, ohhhh how I love babies.

Some days when I'm at my wits end trying to figure out how to juggle 3 kids, I remember you. HOW DO YOU DO IT!?!?! You are super mom! :)
