Day 3

3. A picture of you and your friends

Ok, sorry this is so late in the day.
We FINALLY got to go to church after being sick for like EVER
plus we had two weeks of General Conference
then Stake Conference.
It was great to go to church.

Plus, I just got back from taking Steve to the airport.
:(
I hate this!
But oh well.
Now I get to blog!

Ok, so I can't just pick one picture, because I've had different really go friends in the different stages of my life.
So, first off, High School.

 This is Andrea, aka, Annie.
She was one of the first friends I made when I moved to Sunnyside. We are two weeks apart in age, but she was a year ahead of me in school.
This is her Senior prom.
Anyway, Annie has been a great friend!
Of course, when boys came along, we grew apart, but then picked things back up when we grew up some!
Last year, when I wanted to lose Jake's baby weight (don't judge!), I contacted her, because she is now a Personal Trainer and has her own business! She was gem and sent me work outs, PDF's of how-to's and pictures!
I LOVE this girl!

1st Princess Kayla, Miss Sunnyside Lindsee, 2nd Princess Janae, and me, 3rd Princess
I mentioned before that I was on the Miss Sunnyside Court.
Now, with any situation of putting 4 teenage girls together for a year, there is going to be drama.
And we had our fair share of it.
But really, I love these girls a lot!
But the one I hold dearest, is Janae.
We really bonded that year and have kept in touch.
Just wish we were closer!

Next, College at Western.

Ok, not to be rude, but for this, the tall red head (Amy) isn't apart of the awesome foursome.
She is a great friend, but not a bestie. This is the only picture I have of the three girls that I would do anything for!
Heather, Depree and Kelley.
We were instant friends when we first met our first week at Western.
We spent a lot of time together.
And each girl was/is a different type of chick and we all needed each other that year.
I have been to two sealings.
I'm sad I missed Heather's wedding.
We keep in touch now, but not as well as we should.
I love my girls and I miss them much!
Out of these three girls, Kelley was the one I was closest too.
I LOVE this girl like a sister and wish that we were closer!

Utah
We lived in Logan for 4.5 years. In that time, we made friends, but really these two couples are the only reason we would ever go back and visit!

Brennen and Tonee (Yeah, she's the one who just had the HUGE baby!)
Brennen and Steve severed their missions together in the great state of Ohio.
I think it's safe to say they really got along well.
So, when they got home, Steve went to their wedding reception.
And when we were thinking about moving to Utah, we made a trip down to check out schools and go to General Conference.
I was 8 months pregnant with Jake. And we drove the 12+ hours from Washington to Utah in two days.
We stayed with Brennen and Tonee for a few days.
When I first met them, I was surprised that Brennen gave me a hug. So weird.
So we went out to Olive Garden to eat, and the waiter spilled lemonade on me.
As I was gone cleaning up, these two told Steve he did a good job! LOL!
Anyway, from that time on, I have grown to loves these two!
I love Tonee so much! She is such a sweetie!
And is so open and honest and we could talk for hours about anything and everything!
I love Brennen too! He's such a great guy and so laid back. I can see why Steve really likes him!

Last, but not least, Adam and Laura.
Now, when I first met Laura, I couldn't stand her.
But these two were going through a really rough patch in their marriage and she wasn't up to making new friends at that time.
So for a while, we just hung out with Adam. Steve and Adam were in Accounting together and had almost all their classes together.
Adam baby-sat our kiddos more than any one else. And spent more nights on our couch for midnight ER runs, or trips to labor and delivery. Our kids LOVE Adam!
Once their marriage was back on solid ground, and we hung out more as couples,
I got to know the real Laura (not the cranky I hate my husband Laura)
and we have become really great friends!
Adam is just like Steve (but Steve is better, LOL!) so I like him too, I guess.
But really, Adam and Laura are probably life long friends.
Laura is even willing to play video games with us!
There have been talks of creating a company, accounting of course, but we can't convince these two to move up here.
And we aren't ever going back to Utah.

So there you go. My friends.
I wish I had some pictures of the great friends I've made here in Oregon, but I don't have any.
But a quick shout out to Kari and Melissa!
These two gals have been wonderful and so helpful and have just been there for me.
Even as a new girl in town!
I love you guys!

I tend to lose a lot of friends because of who I am. I rub a lot of people the wrong way.
Always have. And probably always will.

The good, bad, and the ugly.

Friendship is such a precious thing, isn't it? I have never been close to girls before. In fact, I have a bestie that is a girl for the first time in my life. It is kind of exciting!

Which is probably why I love all my bloggy besties. :)

I can't see you rubbing people the wrong way. I just don't see it. :)
