Kids

We've been busy being sick...again. I got better from a bad knee and hip, then got sick again. Which the kids got sick. UGH, will it never end. I just want to be skinny, healthy and to be able to get out of the house!

Anyways, here are the kids. We had haircuts on Saturday for half the boys in my house. Jake's hair is awesome!

Gave Jake a haircut. Can't you tell? LOL! It was Steve's idea. *Note: Steve dressed him after the haircut in his tank top and jeans, then played Rock Band with Jake, Jake lost and got really upset, then Steve thought it would be a good idea to take a picture of him while mad.* Besides the angry picture, Jake rocks the mohawk! He's so sweet that the hair is awesome!

It was nice on Saturday, so we took the kids out to play. This is so Zoe. I love that little girl!

Leo is amazing and I love him. That's all.

Teage has two teeth, can sit up (without help), rolls all over the place, can clap, and is working on crawling. He's been getting up on his hands and knees a couple times these last few days. I love Teage!

Proof that Jake can look sweet in his awesome "rock 'n' roll" hair!

Busy season is almost over! I've survived. Can't say that our apartment has. It's in bad shape. Depression = not wanting to clean. Who would have thought? But I'm feeling better (maybe the sunshine helped) and the apartment is slowing getting back into shape.

The kids miss their Daddy. A lot. Jake count downs the days until the weekend so Daddy can "stay with me". Most nights, Jake crawls into bed with us so he can sleep next to Steve. Zoe goes to Daddy for all her needs. Leo still goes to Mommy for his comfort needs, but will cuddle with Daddy most of the weekend. And Teage, well, Teage keeps Steve up late most nights. He really will only fall asleep either by snuggling with Daddy in the corner of the couch, or nursing in bed with me. When I can't do that anymore, Steve takes over. It's all good though. I'm just glad I'm still nursing him at 7.5 months of age!

So that's that. Mohawks, busy season, spring, sunshine, we miss Daddy, and a dirty house. Oh well. Welcome to the life and times of a family of an auditor for big four firm. *sigh*

I pretty much give up on everything that remotely stresses me out during busy season. Otherwise I get WAY too depressed and then I feel more depressed because I dont like myself. Hang in there! Next year should be better. They stick the newbies on the stuff no one else wants. And you should be better prepared and have better friends and thus a better support system. But it still sucks.

Yes, that will be much better for all those little Richins' for Steve to be around more, and for you too! You have had a definite rough go of it, but you stuck it out, you're awesome! It's so cute how much the kiddos love their daddy. Jake's hair is wild. How long have you guys been sick and with anything serious? It just seems that you have been sick forever, I am so sorry! Took Geddy to the Dr at 3:30 am last night and he has croup - not fun, so I can say that I empathize with you.
