(These are not our Wii characters)
I am now obese, well, according to Wii Fit. I wish there was a way to tell all these games that I'm pregnant and not fat. And that the 20 pounds I've gained since November is the baby growing inside of me.
So the reason for this post, you may ask? Well, first off, I don't care who knows how big I am. Really, what's the point of being ashamed of what the scale says? I'm not proud of how much I've gained and kept after I have had my kids, but now I'm ready to get back in shape and lose all that weight. After I give birth, I'll go back down to 173 and hopefully, I'll lose more this time! And the second point, I like the Wii Fit scale better than the doctor's office!
My doctor's appointment on Wednesday, the scale said 195. Ok, not bad. I'm not at 200 yet, and hopefully I'll not go over that. (It's my goal in each pregnancy not to go over that number. I'll change that once I'm not 173 year round!) Today, it's a rest day on EA Sports Active, so we busted out the Wii Fit for some yoga and strength training. And even though my Mii got some extra weight added to her (I think she looks kind of cute chubby) it said that I weighed 190!!! Either, all this working out has dropped me by 5 pounds (and I've been drinking a lot of water too!) or the Wii Scale is just better! I'll have to keep track of my weight on the Wii Fit Scale and see what the scale says at my next doctor's appointment in a few weeks.
What I'm most excited about. Is to see the drastic weight loss on the Wii Fit after I give birth! Losing 20 + pounds overnight is great!
