Yet another job search update

So yesterday as we were carving our pumpkins (more on that later with pictures) we got a call from a 360 phone number. That's weird, but whatever. It was for Steve. So way back in August, Steve applied for a job with Moss Adams, for positions in Portland, Seattle and Bellingham. We heard from them in September wanting more information. And that was it. So the call yesterday from them was a surprise. And even better news, it was the Bellingham office! They wanted to schedual a phone interview for this morning. It would be awesome to get a job offer from MA in B'ham!!! We both would love to live up there again. Steve is just glad that one of his backup picks is showing interest in him. All of the other ones have be a no go.
Last night I dreamed about living in B'ham again. It truly was the best time ever! I loved Western (well at the time, not so much. After having to deal with USU, Western is sooo much better), I loved the city. I loved the fact I met my hubby there. I was so sad that after we got married we only lived in B'ham for a few months. But glad to move though. There was an evil spirit that lived in our closet. That made itself known on a night of so sweet atempt of adult fun!! Not so fun. We ended up calling the missionaries over (they lived in the complex next to ours, and came over a lot. Not so fun when you're newlyweds) and have them come up to our bedroom to feel that spirit. The one missionary, Elder Noland (he goes to USU now, how funny is that? In the School of Business too. He's ran into Steve a couple of times) could feel it. So we all kneeled and prayed for it to leave. The missionaries left, and we went downstairs. Then Steve cast out the spirit and then dedicated our little townhome apartment. Ahh, good times.
So, after we moved away from B'ham, about two months later, on the news we saw that a 7-11 was robed in B'ham, off of Lakeway. What? We lived off of Lakeway and behind a 7-11. Ahh, it was our 7-11. Crazy!
We miss B'ham. Steve's brother lives in Ferndale, where Steve went to high school. Steve's Dad just moved away, but we still have family up there. We've always said that that is probably where we would like to call home someday. Bellingham holds good memories for us. It's just sad to know, that even if Steve were to get a job offer, we wouldn't be able to take it. We're meant to be in Portland. But it sure was fun to dream about living in good ol' B'ham! Maybe this phone interview will open the door to the Portland office!!
