Father's Day

A day late and a dollar short? Yep, that would be me. With our anniversary right before Father's Day, I always forget about it. I didn't do anything for Steve. Just gave him lots of kisses. We didn't do anything special. At about 8 last night, I remembered that we didn't call our dads. Steve called his, while I hunted down my phone. I found it, and it was dead. I couldn't even turn it on. So I couldn't get my dad's number. And Steve doesn't have my parents numbers in his phone. So I shot an e-mail to my dad. I'm a horrible daughter and wife. And for that, I'm sorry. But I am so very grateful for the Dads in my life! To my own Dad, thank you for being such a loving and kind father. For being so wonderful to our kids. They miss their Boppie like crazy right now. To my Steve. Thanks for being such a wonderful Daddy. The kids love you so much and miss you when you're not around. So to all the Dad's out there, Happy (late) Father's Day!!
