It's really funny what Jake calls his dad. He calls him, Mom-Dad. Jake likes to tell us a good job, and he often says, "Good job Mom-Dad." It's really cute.
It snowed all day yesterday. It was great! It wasn't the hard fast snow, but a light snow all day and got harder as the day went on. Today it's sunny. And that makes me sad. It seems like we never get a white Christmas, but a white December with rain or wetness on Christmas day. I hope that this year is different. Anywho, I wanted to take the kids out to play today, but realized that we have everything to play in the snow but mittens/gloves. What's the point of all this snow, coats, boots, and snow pants if you don't have the gloves? Silly us for forgetting them. I only hope that we get more snow and we can take the kids out to play soon. But first maybe we should get gloves!
Today I wasn't feeling well, so Steve let me sleep in instead of going to church. Later on during the day we got a notice stuck to our door. It's about Jake. In January he starts going to Sunbeams. I can't believe that he's old enough to do Sunbeams. We're pretty much slacking when it comes to going to church. We're trying to do better, but I think this whole Sunbeams thing is going to really kick our butts into going to church. At least I hope.
Zoe likes to scream when she doesn't like what's happening to her. She does it a lot. There are so many differences between boys and girls. Jake never did the screaming thing. He would just throw a fit and go off into a corner or something. Zoe goes all out. She screams, throws her head back and thrashes around on the floor. Now, Jake did that too, but Zoe just adds more drama into it. Also, Zoe is much more cuddly than Jake was at this age. Jake wouldn't even let us hold him for a second. Everyday Zoe lets me hold her and cuddle with her for at least half an hour. I love it! She is the best cuddle bunny ever!!
I can't believe it's already December and that 2007 is coming to an end. Where does the year go? What's even more scary, I can't believe that Zoe is going to be two in little over six months. She is getting so big. So much has happened in the last year. We moved right at the beginning of the year, got pregnant, went on the best vacation ever, Steve's plans were smashed to pieces only to have better plans come up. So much has happened. It's scary to look into 2008 and see what's coming. Another child to be born into our crazy family. Steve starts the beginning of the end of school forever. Zoe turns two and Jake will turn four (yikes!). Jake will start Sunbeams and Zoe will go into Nursery. 2008 holds so much for us. It'll be the end of student life for us. It will mark the beginning of real adult life. We can only hope that Steve gets a good job in a nice city. We are so open to anywhere, that I think it'll be just fine. We want to get back to Washington, but it just doesn't look like it will. We'll be happy to move out of Utah. Utah has been good, we've made some friends, but it's just not us. We don't fit in here and it's a place where we're not really 100% happy. I hope that where ever we end up we'll be happy and fit in just nice.
What's even weirder to me is that I'm just about into my third trimester. This pregnancy is going by so fast. Before I know I'm going to have this little guy in my arms. I hope it goes that fast. I really don't like the last three months. But it's all worth it in the end. I'm already huge, I can't imagine what I'm going to look like by the end. It should be fun!!

Jake is hilarious..."mom-dad," what a funny kid! I know, 9:30am church stinks! It's so hard getting up. We miss you though! Jake will love Sunbeams, there's like 5 other boys in his class (scary, aren't we glad we don't teach Sunbeams!??) so he'll have tons of friends. Your pregnancy has SPED by!! I can't believe you're almost done!! I bet you're so excited!!!
