Merry Christmas

2012 has been a very good year for us! We hope that this year has been wonderful for you as well.

Dexter - Has been growing and learning new things. He turned 1 in June. He loves camping, food and cars. We nursed for 15 months, which was awesome! In December, he started nursery, and is loving it!

Teage - Amazes me with his kindness and love, each day. Teage turned 3 in July, and has no desire to potty train. But, he's talking all the time and is really into anything super hero! This is his last year in nursery. I can't believe he'll be a Sunbeam in a few weeks! Teage is learning new things, and can count to 15 without help! I'm hoping to start potty training next month.

Leo - Is awesome! He mispronounces things in the cutest way. He turned 4 in February and loved being a Sunbeam this year. Although, every girl in his class is his girlfriend, and he has many! Leo can write his name and knows most of his ABC's. He was so excited to start school next September!

Zoe - My little drama girl. I love her anyway. She is doing wonderful in school this year. She's in 1st grade and is improving in her reading, writing and talking. She still is hard to understand, but doesn't qualify for speech in school. But, she's improving, and I'm hoping she'll grow out of it soon enough. Zoe turned 6 in July. Each day I see a glimpse of what kind of young woman she will become. She is so sweet and kind, and loves mothering!

Jake - Is still super smart! He loves 2nd grade and his teacher. He plays soccer at every recess and loves learning and reading. Jake turned 8 in November and was baptized December 1st. He was so excited to be baptized and see all his family. He loved the scriptures he got from Grandma Marilu and reads them every day. More importantly, to him, he finally got to start Cub Scouts! He as already earned his Bobcat and is well on his way to earning his Wolf!

Sara - I have loved living in a house! We have all enjoyed the change and can't believe it's been a year already. In March I was called as 2nd Counselor in the Primary. A calling I've been dreading to get. But I soon loved it and wasn't ready to be released in November. But alas, I was needed somewhere else. I am now a Sunday School teacher to the 13 year olds. I can't tell you how excited I am for next year and Come, Follow Me. I have truly enjoyed teaching the youth I have now, and will miss them next year. But, I've heard I'm getting a larger group of lively kids next year. It should be interesting. 

We learned I was expecting in July, and baby GIRL #6, will be making her appearance in mid March! We are ALL so happy that we are finally getting another girl and can't wait to meet her!

I turned 29 in August. I don't know how I feel about being 30 in a few months, but so far, 29 has been treating me well.

Steve - He has been working so hard this year. He's been at his job for 18 months now. And he loves it! He was called as CubMaster in February. Jake has being waiting to go to Pack Meetings with Daddy. Steve loves his calling and the boys. It's been fun learning about Scouts. 

This year has been fun and exciting. We took lots of camping trips this summer. Spent time with family. Made new friends and made lots of happy memories!
