So, my wonderful neighbor called the cops on us on Monday night. We were letting Dexter cry it out. The officer said that the call was because she heard screaming and crying. Ugh! But nothing since then. We have talked to the management here, and have made sure that those calls against us doesn't hurt our rental record, but hers. I have a feeling that she is going to keep causing problems for whoever lives here after us.
But on to better things. I'm all packed! What's left are things that need to be left out until Friday night. And I'll be finishing up what's left with the pre cleaning today!
I really couldn't have done all this without the help from the few ladies from our church that have come by to help. Or the sweet ladies that have been taking my kids during the day. I've been able to use my time wisely (and Dexter has been really good) so I can get a lot of stuff done in those few short hours. Or all day.
Really, I have a few great friends that have been willing to take my kids for all day. I know they are in good hands and I am able to kick this apartments butt while they are having fun! Thank you so much ladies!
Tomorrow, we get to go sign the lease and get our keys! I can't wait!!
I'm a little sad that I'll have to get Jake out of school early, to do that. But he's so excited about moving, that missing the last 1.5 hours of school isn't going to hurt him.
I am truly thankful for all the help that I have been getting. I'm sad to leave such great friends. But at least we won't be going very far!
Expect me to be gone for another week. We'll be going to my parents for Thanksgiving. So that leaves about three days of unpacking before we leave. I'll post pictures as soon as I can. I'm praying that the next two days go by fast and without drama. I'm really sick of living in fear all the time. More so now that it seems like all our noise is amplified with everything packed up.
Thanks again to all your support, prayers, good thoughts and good juju being sent our way. I have felt them and it warms my heart that complete strangers are thinking good things. And thank you to my friends near by that have helped me out! I couldn't have done all this without your help!

Yes, it's too bad about that lady. Hopefully some very silent kid-free people move into that apartment next!

I haven't been around and I'm so out of the loop, but it seems that many of my bloggy friends have great news and this just makes me HAPPY for you.
Anyway, it seems that by now you've already moved so I hope you're getting settled and you enjoy the holiday with your family tomorrow!!
