WWTK #20

Hey! It's Wednesday, time for Mamarazzi and Queso's We Want To Know!

This week, Mamarazzi wants to know:

{1}. Do you prefer to text or call?
{2}. What is the last text message in your phone and who is it from?
{3}. What are your favorite phone apps?
{4}. At what age do you think kids are ready for a cell phone?
{5}. Share a current pic or video taken with your phone.

{1}. Do you prefer to text or call?
Hands down, text! I have a phone phobia, and get super nervous, scared and a little sick when I have to make phone calls. It's gotten better with talking/calling to Steve's family. My mom, no problem. But other than that, don't count on me making a phone call. I'd much rather text. And if I can't, email or facebook.

{2}. What is the last text message in your phone and who is it from?
(k) From Steve yesterday at 9:28 am. He had just told me that he was going to be in meetings all day, so we wouldn't be able to chat through out the day.

{3}. What are your favorite phone apps?
Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Hulu+, Netflix (Teage gets in there and watches Care Bears: Big Wish), MyNetDiary, Game Cheats. And for the kids, Preschool Adventure, Baby Einstein, Preschool Touch, Coloring. And just for Leo, LetsTans. Really, he's that good at those puzzles! He's smart like his Daddy!

{4}. At what age do you think kids are ready for a cell phone?
Sometime in high school. And even then, it has to be for a good reason. I didn't get my first cell phone until I was a sophomore in high school. And that was only because I cheered and would let my parents know when we were almost home from away games so they could meet me at the school to pick me up. Even though I had my drivers license by then, I didn't get to drive to school with my parents car until the end of my junior year and all through my senior year. And I didn't start texting until I was married and we had been for a year or so.
So yeah, the point of this, not until high school and it would be just a phone. Nothing fancy, and no texting!

{5}. Share a current pic or video taken with your phone.
This was taken on Monday night. He was smiling and cooing at me. But right when I pulled out the phone to take a video of him, he started getting fussy. It's kinda cute to see him debating whether or not he wanted to be happy or sad.
And this photo was taken earlier that day. I was sleepy, the kids were "napping" and Dexter was fussy. So we laid down on the couch to drift off to sleep, and he nursed. I looked down and he was grabbing the booby milk supply with both hands. Too cute! Love it when they start doing that. Hate the sharp nails though.

I didn't get my first cell phone until I was in college, and I'm sorry I ever got one, haha

That pic of Dexter is so cute! He's such a little squish ball!

I didn't used to be very good on the phone and then I went to work. I got over a lot of phobias when I started working.

texting is easy when you just need to send a quick message.

I love the Netflix app too, nothing cooler than watching a movie on your phone! :)

I completely agree with waiting until high school to get a phone! And nothing fancy is needed!

Yep college for me and it didn't have texting...not even sure if texting existed then, man I sound old! I had to make a lot of hard calls when I worked so I got good at it- but such a wimp now - I make my husband call.

I don't have a smart phone - or even a phone with a keyboard, so I hate texting! One day, I'll join the crowd and finally find joy in writing messages!
