Weight Goals

Now that my 6 weeks of "recovery" is over, I have started to work out and eat right. I gave myself 6 extra weeks to eat whatever and drink all the soda I want. Now, it's time to get back to business and work off this baby weight (Dexter's and Jake and Zoe's.)

All this week, I've been trying to go to the gym every day. I missed one day because of a bad caffeine withdrawal headache. And yesterday I didn't go because I walked over a mile pushing a double stroller and wearing a baby...my legs were tired.

I've also cut out the pop (although, I did have a glass of Sierra Mist last night with pizza, but you can't have pizza without soda...it's just wrong not to) and have been making better food choices. I don't diet. I just eat what I should be eating. And I track my calories on my phone. (Love apps!)

My goal is to get to my pre-pregnancy weight of 162 by December 31st. Hopefully I'll get there quicker, but we'll see. Once I hit my 162 weight, I'll still be "overweight", so I'll be working towards my goal of 125 (that probably won't happen, but I'd love to get there). I'll settle for 140. That was what I weighed when I got married. I was a size 8/10 then. But I would really love to get down to my high school weight. Seeing how my 10 year reunion is next year. WHAT?!?!??!?! That's crazy!

I've been using my workouts that my friend sent me last year again. They are kicking my butt just like they did last year. I also have the Nike trainer app that I might use if I get bored. And we also have the EA Active for the XBox (we have Kinect) that Steve has been using to work out with. I might use that if I happen to not go to the gym for some reason.

So there are my goals. Wish me luck!

I know that last time I did this, I used my blog to help keep me accountable. That's what I'm going to be doing now. So, here are my stats for this week!

Starting Weight: 181
Last Weeks Weight: 181
This Weeks Weight: 178
Total Loss This Week: 3
Total Loss: 3
Pounds to Lose: 16

Congratulations! I like that you're setting yourself smaller goals for certain time frames. I think I'll steal this idea for my weight goals. I've got a lot to lose and it gets overwhelming if I start thinking about how long it will take me to get to my target weight.

I love that you're not dieting, just changing your choices. I always do so much better when I do that. When I have dieted I usually fall of the wagon quickly.

Though, I'm lazy and usually don't attempt anything for a few months after having a baby.

Good luck this week!

Good luck girl!

I'm starting back up with my hardcore dieting today actually! I think I'm going to go back to posting all of my foods and stuff on my blog and I'm keeping a loss journal for a swap that I'm doing to hold me accountable.

Cheers to successful lifestyle changes!

We are about the same, so I am going to try to do this along with you, if that is okay. Good luck, and I know you can do it!

The Hubs and I are starting our competition weight loss today! Do you think you could share the workouts your friend sent to you? I am trying to loose the baby/prebaby weight. Being down to a size 10/12 is my goal, not a fan of this size 16 anymore....
