20. Someone you see yourself marrying/being with in the future
Well, seeing how I'm already married...
I met Steve not wanting to get serious.
I had just got out of serious and wanted some fun.
Just dating.
Nothing else.
But we spent not even a whole week together before we realized that this could be something more.
Something special.
Now, I wasn't attracted to him right away.
But I was attracted to his Spirit.
His aura, or whatever.
That is what I needed at the time.
And that grew to more.
To a real and deep attraction that lead to really like that lead to love.
The first time he said I love you, it felt so much more real than the other dudes that had said it to me before.
And before I knew what was happening we were talking about marriage.
I knew that I wanted to get married.
I had prayed about it and felt that Steve was right.
But he hadn't.
And when he did, he wasn't getting any answers.
I remember, it was January, and he called me from work, and he said that he was thinking about going to Provo for a while, but then, he didn't want to lose me. That he wanted to see if this could go somewhere.
That was the awesomest phone call ever.
That's when I really started praying if and what our next step should be.
Then February happened.
And we got in a fight.
A huge fight.
It lasted all month.
But at the end, we grew to another level in our relationship.
And that was when he finally started asking the right questions in his prayers, and got his answer.
I was the girl!
From there, we told my mom, so she could get started making my dress, and we booked our date at the temple.
But he didn't officially ask me till April.
We then waited two whole months before our wedding date, June 13th (yeah, it was a Friday!)
and were married for all time and eternity.
Really, the best moment in my life.
Plus the 4 births of our children.
If you aren't LDS, and have the chance to go to an Open House at a Temple, DO SO!
The sealing room is amazing.
Picture, standing there, by the alter, in a white wedding dress, next to your love,
looking into a mirror and seeing the refection from the one behind you, going on forever.
It's an amazing moment.
One, that I will remember forever.
So, that's who I married. A return missionary whose spirit sucked me in.
To this day, he is the person I turn to for all things.
I am really lucky to have married such a sweet and wise man.
Really, I'm the wise one, but he has his moments.
I am a truly lucky gal to have him in my life!
Out side the Seattle Temple.
It rained all morning, but for our time outside, the sky opened up and it was sunny, just over the temple!
My favorite wedding picture.
It's sort of a tradition in his family, this picture.
I just love it!
