Day 10

10. Songs you listen to when you are happy, sad, sappy, bored, hyped, mad

Hmmm.....this is kind of hard. Cuz I listen to a lot of songs when I'm all sorts of emotional.
LOL!

Happy:
Inside of You - Hoobstank
Anything for the Black Eyed Peas
MADONNA!!!!!!!
The good songs from Aerosmith like Pink, Jaded, Crazy, Crying, Fall in Love, Same Old Song and Dance, Dude Looks Like a Lday, Walk This Way...to name a few
Stylo and Plastic Beach from the Grolliaz
Pour Some Sugar on Me - Def Leppard
Ugh, the is more. Basically anything from my Work Out Playlist!

Sad:
See above
Really
I might listen to some Hymns.
I'm super excited cuz I just got all the Hymns and songs from the Children's Songbook on CD and downloaded on to my iPod. I like to listen to these in the morning and night. Or anytime the kids are getting out of hand. It seems to bring the Spirit back into our home and helps calm us ALL down!

Sappy:
I think for this one I like to listen to No Doubt Rocky Steady Album.
Why?
Well, our song is Rock Steady
and we went to this concert when we were dating and it was just super fun!
And Hella Good was AWESOME live!!
Or the Something to Remember album from Madonna.
It's an easy listen and brings back TONS of memories for middle and high school.
Especially the song: This Used to be my Playground .

Board:
See HAPPY list.
I have 277 songs on my workout play list.
This is bound to be something that pops up on shuffle that gets me movin!

Hyped:
Jock Rook 2000
Really.
Ok, it's an album but I LOVE to listen to it and pretend I'm a cheerleader again.
We used to warm up to this CD
So it really gets me moving.
Also, again, my workout playlist.

Mad:
Eminem
Ok, he's not a song, but yeah, you get the point.
Or whatever songs my hubby DJ's for me in the car.
Like yesterday, Zoe was being a pill as we were trying to leave for our nephew's baseball game.
It was a fight to get her out of the house and in the car to go.
So, he asked me what I wanted to listen to.
ME: I don't care.
HIM: Cuz I was thinking something loud and angry.
ME: Prefect!
But I can't remember what we listened to.
It was from his iPod.
And it was loud and angry.
I think some Drop Kick Murphy's were played.
But that's all I got.

Music is a HUGE part of me.
And it has this affect on me and my mood.
K-time for a little history. We believe in the power of the Priesthood.
So, that means that we believe in giving blessings.
Meaning, my hubby has the power and authority to give me a Priesthood blessing for comfort or whatever.
I ask for a lot of them.
That's probably how I am able to be a mom of 4.5 kids with about 18 months apart in age.
Anyhoo, I keep getting reminded to listen to good music.
So, I think that means that most of the time, the music I listen to isn't on that list.
I'm trying to listen to more of the Church songs and less of my workout list.
It seems to be helping with the kids and me and bring the PEACE I sooooooo need in order to not lose it ALL THE TIME!

Have you heard of Lower Lights? Look them up on Youtube. They are LDS artists who all got together and made recordings of the hymns. Pretty awesome. I really like them.
