Did you know that I'm a HUGE NCAA Basketball fan?
Did you know that I LOVE March Madness?
Did you know that all three of my teams (yes, I have three, four if you count Ohio State because that's where my husband served his mission at) have been given great praise and are named as one of the 9 or so teams for a Cinderella story?
HELL YEAH!
First and foremost are my Aggies!!
UTAH STATE, HEY AGGIES ALL THE WAY!
GO AGGIES!
GO AGGIES!
HEY, HEY, HEY!!!!
I am a True Aggie through and through!
Yes, I kissed my husband on a True Aggie night, along with at least 100 other people, all squished together making out. And yes, we did get to kiss on top of the A.
Like I said, we are True Aggies!
(Oh yeah, I cheered in high school, so I sort of hang on to that. LOL)
They play 5 seed Kansas State. And Kansas State has not been getting good buzz!
Our game is at 6:55 PST and I cannot wait!
I'll be wearing my Aggie Blue
(I'm Proud of My A)
And will be cheering loudly!!
My number two team is University of Washington
UDub!
Go Huskies!
I have been a UW fan since, I don't know, forever!
I wanted to go there and cheer so I could wear purple and gold spankies.
But alas, that wasn't in the cards.
But I still love my Huskies!
Tomorrow, they play 10 seed UGA.
UW is the higher seed, but the 7/10 games are always a toss up.
UW is on a roll and they are liked to win this game!
And, I wouldn't be a true Washingtonian if I didn't cheer on Gonzaga!
Once upon a time, when I was a Senior in high school, my Dad started watching this kid from Brewster play in the B basketball State tourney in Yakima.
(I had dated a guy from Brewster the year before, so my dad started stalking the high school...weird, I know)
But this red headed kid (not my ex) was great. And went to play for the Zags.
My parents, started to really fallow this kid (since graduated) and the team ever since.
That was almost 10 years ago.
But, because we have no true alliance to any college in Washington (well, Western, but they aren't in Division 1) we sort of follow all the teams and Gonzaga is one of them!
(except WSU. That is a dirty, nasty word in our home...along with BYU. Yes, I do not like BYU. Yes, I am Mormon. No, I will not be struck my lightening for not liking BYU. I hope the get their butts whooped today!)
The Zags play 6 seed St. John today at 6:30.
I will start watching their game, then switch to my Aggies half way through.
But the Zags have been on a roll, and could very well pull off an upset. We'll see.
It's a good thing I have the NCAA March Madness App on my phone!
So there you go.
I tend to root for the underdogs.
That's why I never fill out or play in any bracket polls.
I will not do well.
Because I hope, that one of these 3 (4 if you count Ohio) teams will win the tourney.
And maybe they could.
But who knows.
It's still fun to watch some good ol' basketball!
GO AGGIES!
GO HUSKIES!
GO ZAGS!
BOO BYU!
;)
We might have taught our kids to say Boo Broncos (you know, Boise State :P)
And Boo Cougars.
Of course, that can go for both BYU and WSU!
Who are you cheering for?

Is it bad if I don't want to cheer for anyone-kinda despise college b-ball...but if there is nothing else on maybe I will cheer for one of your teams!
It's so funny you posted this seeing as I literally just posted a two paragraph rant about March Madness on my blog, haha
I got your e-mail, I didn't forget your offer!
And I agree BOO BYU - if anything because everyone is just driving me nuts about them.
This was a cute post. My hubby is a BIG March Maddness fan. He talks to our girls about all the teams & what it means if this team wins or loses or whatnot. It really is hilarious to watch him invest so much time in telling them all of this when really they just cheer for whoever he tells them to. LOL. I'm not sure who he is in love with this year??? A bummer that he never gets to root for his college (Beavers aren't so great most of the time LOL). He has however taught all 3 of our girls from the time they could start speaking "Beavers Rock, Ducks Suck!" Nice huh......
