Confession Friday

Photobucket

It's that time again. Time to get some stuff off my chest.

LOL!

I CONFESS

Week three, not so good. Super sick, kids being monsters, a huge fight with the hubs.

Not fun.

So glad it's almost over!

I CONFESS

That I didn't talk to my husband for 24 hours yesterday.

And only talked to him after I bought a really cute cloth diaper on Hyena Cart.

Isn't it cute? I got it from Little Star Creations!

Once I made the purchase, I felt better and called my hubby.

But really, he deserved it!

I promise!

I CONFESS

I get sad when there is no fluff in the mail.

But I got two yesterday.

But I didn't check my mail until this morning.

So now I have to wait until the office opens.

So I'll just get it when I pick up Jake from the bus stop.

I CONFESS

I have the best Visiting Teacher ever!

I have bugged her so much this week.

Monday-called to have her (she sent her husband) over to watch sleeping kids while I went to urgent care.

Tuesday-called crying for some help because I was feeling like crap.

She then arranged (with some help) a meal for me on Wednesday and to have women from our congregation to come over and watch the kiddos so I can get a nap without having to worry about the kids.

Then, she has called and checked up on me everyday to make sure I'm resting (because I'm a mom, and if you get any ounce of energy back, you tend to start taking care of things, even though you shouldn't. Sorry, I promise not to do my dishes until I'm 100% better. LOL) and feeling better.

Because of the care I have received, I am finally getting better, thanks to all the rest I've been able to get!

*But it's really driving me crazy how messy my home is right now!*

I CONFESS

I'm pretty sure my mouth gets me into trouble a lot.

Always has. Always will.

I CONFESS

Being a mom this week sucked. I wish everything would have been different.

I CONFESS

February isn't our month.

Really.

Our first big fight when we were dating was in February. It lasted all month long.

And since then, February has been the hardest month for us.

I don't know why. It just is.

I feel bad, because monkey number 3, his birthday is in February.

At least it's at the end of the month.

Almost March. So, things are better by then....Hopefully.

Poor kid.

I CONFESS

That when a child is in need of a diaper change, or they make a mess, we say

"Clean up on aisle _____"

Inserting the number for which child is in need.

Example: Leo spilled his milk...again.

"Clean up on aisle 3!"

LOL! Totally stole that from Cheaper By The Dozen.

That's it folks.

Glad you are feeling better. VT are the best. I swear you find some of the best friends that way. Glad yours is taking care of you. Hope you and the hubs find some time to just relax and be.

Have a great weekend.

Those are some cute booty diapers. I love them. It kinda reminds me of 4th of July.

Poor guy...he must've been miserable.

Welcome to the club of putting your foot in your mouth! Wanna be the President?

Ooooh, how nice to have people come over and watch your babies so you can rest and feel better. Sounds like you have an amazing support system.

Ugh, sorry about February being so sucky for you guys. At least it's a short month. I can totally relate on going 24 hours (or, in my case, maybe a little more) without talking to the hubs. I know the silent treatment gets under his skin, so it gives me a little satisfaction in the moment. :-)

Clean up on aisle 3! Love it!

I never think to call my visiting teachers. And we are supposed to. So good for you for reaching out. I hope you are continuing to feel better with each day.
