And it's a....

baby not an alien!! LOL!

On Monday we went for my half way point check up, ie 19 weeks get to find out what flavor of baby you are having!

Both Steve and I were nervous and excited for this appointment. We actually got a baby sitter so we could just have our moment with the baby. (That hasn't happened since we were pregnant with Jake)

Baby was not very cooperative. It was in a tight little ball, hiding from the ultrasound tech (who was in training, so it went twice as long, but more time with the baby), moving a lot, oh and it doesn't help that the placenta is high and between me and baby. It liked to hide behind the placenta or would creep down to below (so very low on me) it and sit back. We hardly got to see it's cute little face.
Then when the real tech came in, we were able to get more profile shots. Well, just one of the same "series" of shots. The only one kiddo would let us take. Baby finally stretched out and looked like a normal baby, instead of one in a ball hiding or playing peek-a-boo. Although, when we first say baby, all we saw was a hand and it waved! Very cute!
My favorite shots are of their feet. So cute! I can't wait to kiss those little toes!

And now, what you've all been waiting for. The money shot!
There it is. A penis. There is no doubt in my mind that we are having another boy. That is totally a turtle going on there!

(I say this because on Facebook one of my non-parent friends was trying to tell me that it might be a girl because her SIL was told by their doctor that they were having a boy, then when baby was baby boy was really a baby girl. But yeah, there is no mistaking that peep)

We both really wanted a girl (we have a lot of cute girl stuff from Zoe that is just stilling boxes waiting to be worn again), so we both were a little disappointing, but quickly got over that. I know that this little dude is gonna be special and awesome and very much loved! I guess I'm suppose to raise little missionaries and gentlemen!

I know it's a long ways off to be thinking like this, but I'm very excited to raise my boys into wonderful men that will marry in the Temple to wonderful women that will get to be my daughter-in-laws. Plus, I'm hoping that they'll want to spend lots of time with us! :D

I'm very excited for this little dude to come. He feels like calm, peaceful little guy.

Yay! Another little man! Congratulations to you two!!

I'm sure that all of your wonderful boys will grow up to be amazing missionaries and will bring home beautiful future daughters for you :)

I love that you guys are from Oregon. One of my friends is currently serving his mission in Oregon. His is the Eugene Oregon Mission, and I'm not exactly sure where he is right now, but I love small coincidences like that :)

I can't wait to find out what I'm having. Everyone around me...now you too! Is having boys. We are fine either way, but like you, I'm hoping for a girl since I have so much girl stuff left from Abby!
