It seems like everyone and their dog has had a baby in the last month or two. I love to read their birth stories. But I can't help but think about a documentary I watched on how American doctors are pushing new moms and not so new moms into induction. I have never had a good feeling about induction. When Teage just wouldn't come out, the doctor talked about induction and I got so nervous and scared. After lots of prayer and blessings, we thought we would talk about it the next morning with the doctor. We didn't make it. Funny, how things work out that way.
So, I just thought I would put out there, all you expecting moms should really watch The Business of Being Born. It's on Netflix instant watch, or rent it. It is truly amazing. I did my homework before I saw this movie, and I can say that what they have said, is true and a little scary. Ok, a lot scary. Just, watch it and keep an open mind. Then test out what they say. Google the stats. You'll see. Just wanted to share my two cents on my thoughts on this. Cheers!

Hmm...interesting! I'll have to watch it. I've only ever been induced. Savanna was a week overdue and they thought I was losing fluid. Then Lilly was due on Christmas and that was my choice and THANK GOODNESS, I would've had to have a c-section because if I'd waited, she would've been too big to deliver. She was HUGE! I'm petrified to go into labor again though seeing as the hospital is 2.5 hours away so I imagine I'll be forced into an induction again just so I don't have the baby in the canyon during a blizzard. :)
