In April we went to Utah to see my best friend get married (finally, lol). Most people can do the drive from Oregon in one day. But they don't have four kids 5 and under. So we stopped half way at my parents place for the night.
Grandma was busy bee and made all sorts of new dresses for Zoe and pj's for Jake and Leo. And since it was the weekend after Easter, the kids also got their Easter Baskets from Grammy and Boppie!

The next day we were up early on the road to Utah. We drove all the way to Layton and stayed with Steve's mission son, Justin and family. They were great to see (Ashley was about 8 months pregnant with her second child ) and so nice to put us up!
That night we went to Chuchy Cheese. They kids had a blast!
We forgot to take pictures while at Justin and Ashley's. So this is stolen from their blog. But it's the morning of the wedding while mom and dad were getting ready, the kids got breakfast. That's Corgan up top. He was so cute, but a lot overwhelmed that is the chaos that is our kids. But our kids played well with Corgan. And I can't say how wonderful it was to be able to leave our 4 kids with Justin and his brother and sister (Ashley was preparing for a baby shower) while we were at the temple. Thanks so much guys!So the whole reason for this trip was because of these two:
Kelley is one of my best friends from Western! She grew up in the town that I was born in (how crazy was that?) and we met on our first week as college students (along with Depree and Heather) and we've all stayed close after we left Western. Kelley is the last of the four of us to get married. And what's great, she's friends with Steve. So this trip was not just for me, but for Steve and I to see our good friend get hitched! And she married a really good guy!
I just have to laugh though. At one point the sealer said that soon they would have kids and have sleepless nights and have to really work on their marriage (or something like that). While the sealer was saying that, Kelley looked right over at Steve and I. Hmmm, I wonder of our sleepless nights show??? LOL!
After the reception we headed north to Logan to stay with our good friends, the Huggins'! They had just finished building their home and had only stayed on night before we showed up. Thanks Adam and Laura for putting us up! You guys are the best!!
That night we ate Costa Vida!!!! Played with the kids and stayed up way too late watching Zombie movies! Ahh, true friends!
The next morning Adam and Laura made us a yummy breakfast and afterwards, Adam took Zoe and Leo out on the four wheeler. Jake was too scared to go, but Zoe and Leo had a blast!
