General Conference

Mosiah 2:5 And it came to pass that when they came up to the temple, they pitched their tents round about, every man according to his family, consisting of his wife, and his sons, and his daughters, and their sons, and their daughters, from the eldest down to the youngest, every family being separate one from another.

My good friend Amiee shared this tradition that they do with their family for General Conference. So, we have started doing it. We move our living room around and pitch a tent in front of our tv so we can watch the Prophet speak to us just like the people of King Benjamin did way back then.

I don't know if it really helps the kids sit down and watch conference better, but it's fun and that's good enough for us!

Zoe crashed after we took them to play outside after conference.

Here is the tent in all it's glory. I'm so glad we have a blow up mattress. Sleeping on the floor for two nights is rough!
