Logan Summerfest 2009

This past weekend was Summerfest. We ended up going three times. Thursday night, Friday morning then Friday night with our friends Adam and Laura. We really enjoyed walking around and seeing all the art and crafts. Hoping that one day we would be able to drop $150 on an amazing painting! But for now, we'll just day dream!

They had a kids area with a tepee thing that spouted out bubbles. The kids were in heaven! Here are some pictures from Friday night and the bubbles!

Zoe waiting for more bubbles. Later, a really big, black girl (probably about 6 or 7) knocked Zo over. I about pounced on that girl. She knows better! We called it quits after that.

Jake getting some bubble action. He loves wearing hats, and loved the Yellowstone hat Steve found.

Not wanting to leave Leo out of the action, and not wanting him to be trampled, Steve took Leo over to where the bubbles were coming down. As you can tell, he loved it!

One the way out and back home, Jake wanted to try the bucket stilts. We didn't think he could do it, but surprise surprise, he could do it!

Here he is walking on them.

Zo wanted to try, but couldn't get it down. So, Daddy helped her out. Jake and Zoe ended up doing chicken fights on the buckets. Very cute, and Zoe one all the fights!

We really enjoyed ourselves and were glad to share some time with our friends. The only sad thing was last year I got Steve an enched glass with Old Main and the A init. It was really pretty, but didn't fit into the stand that came with it. So, we took it back this year, hoping to get a stand that would fit. The guy didn't even seem to care and just offered to give us our money back. So, with that returned money, we got lots of yummy food! There really is nothing better than funnel cakes, gyroes, Navahoo tacos, roasted corn and baked potatoe, phily cheese steak sandwich and italian ice! Like I said, a lot of food! Can not wait for the Puyallup! Even better food there!!
