My brother is on vacation at Wolf Creek, so he and his family drove up here for a short day visit. It was a lot of fun. First we sat around and chatted in our tiny apartment. Then, we went up to the frisbee golf course on campus and played a round of 9. Chris (my sister-in-law) stayed in the van to do math homework (she's going back to school after 20 years. And she's getting straight A's! Supermom/woman she is!) and then Ryan (one of my four nephew's) started to feel sick, so he went to hang out with his mom. I lost big time this time. Duane and Ty kicked our butts, I think. I lost track of the score.
Ty, he is amazing! Straight A student, a stud when it comes to all things running, and he's pretty darn cute!
My big brother, Duane! He's a high school teacher (Business courses), Fastpitch coach, and Future Business Leaders of America Adavisor. He's also the 2nd counselor in his ward.
Here is Ryan (sorry, I didn't get a picture of his right side, oops). He'll be a freshmen this year and is already taller than his older brothers. And he's still growing. YIKES!
More Ty. Look at that form!
You know that guy. He's a hunk!
Duane's backside. He could really throw far. But it must be a Higley thing, because he hit the same tree I always hit in another hole.
Steve took this picture. There's about 10 shots of my butt before I actually did anything.
Afterwards, we went to Adam's Park and hung out while our kids and Will (another nephew) played at the playground. Just chatting and catching up. Ryan stayed in their van most of the time, he still wasn't feeling well. They left to go back to Wolf Creek after our time in the park. It was a really nice visit! I'm so glad we got to spend sometime with them.
Leo making his way back to the fun! He would have nothing to do with either Duane or Chris. He kept looking at them with this worried scared face. It was really cute. I think we have moved into the stage of strangers are scary. I miss the cute Leo that would flirt and go to anyone.
Duane, he hates getting his picture taken, so he kept turning away from me. But this is a good side profile!
Ty, isn't he cute ladies? He'll be 17 in December!!
My cute sister-in-law Chris. She was doing more Math homework while we just chatted. Being a mom of 4 boys, ages almost 19 to almost 8, has to be hard work. She's going back to school to get her teaching degree, she substitute teaches, keeps 4 boys alive, does a lot of cooking from scratch, and has a calling at church that keeps her busy. She really is an amazing woman! And on top of that, they have hosted two foreign exchange students in the last 4 years. WOW!
After that, we (Steve and I) went to the store to grab a quick dinner before Adam and Laura came over to play more frisbee golf! Half way through dinner, we got a call from them that Aybri (their beautiful daughter) got sick in the car on their way up here, and were turning around to clean her up and would be staying home to make sure she starts feeling better. We're sad that they didn't get to hang out with us, but totally understand that kids come first.
So, we came on in and watched the rest of Sony's Press Conference from E3 (video game stuff). Jake fell asleep in his daddy's arms. (ahh so sweet) We put Leo to bed, and Zoe is still up (lucky girl, it's way past her bed time).
What's the best way to top off a great day? A thunder storm! Even better, dancing in the rain with your daughter and husband? We ran inside before it really started storming with lots of lightening and thunder.
Me and Zo dancing in the rain!
More dancing!
Ok, so I'm making a crazy face because the rain was running down from my hair, carrying hair product and sweat into my eyes. And it really hurt! But it's a cute picture of me and Zoe!
Daddy's turn to dance with Zoe!
Cheese! Zoe was starting to get freaked out by the thunder. Plus, lightening was getting closer, so we headed in right after this.
All in all, it's been a great day! Thanks Duane, Chris, Ty, Ryan and Will (sorry there are no pictures of Will, he just wouldn't hold still long enough and Chase, the oldest, stayed home because he had knee surgery today and my parents are looking after him) for coming up here and making our day fun!

So glad you all were able to visit with Duane and family. Chase's surgery went well and he went home for the night (he didn't want to stay with us) this morning he was up and gone. Don't know what's up today. Will keep trying to call him. I see Zoe has her new dress on. Do take care. Love Ya Mom
