Steve's Daddy...

...mission daddy that is, was in town, so we had dinner with him and his family. Alvin Gates, his wife Debra, and kids Markell and Taylor. We had a good time with them. Steve and I borrowed a small portable barbeque and we had a bbq out back. Our kids had a good time playing with each other, Steve and Alvin chatted about the mission and what happened to who, and Debra and I just chatted about our men, kids, family. It was great! Although the visit was short (just long enough to eat and have dessert) we might get to see them (or at least Alvin) in mid-June. I'm glad I finally got to meet Steve's mission trainer. I've heard a lot about him and what fun him and Steve had. Good times!

Taylor, Markell, Jake and Zoe (Leo had to go to bed. He had had enough by the time dessert came along.)
