Tooth or Teeth?

We took the kids to the dentist yesterday. All is well. No cavities, Zoe's bruised tooth is healing and getting better and Leo has two teeth in one. That's right. I said two teeth in one. Did you know that teeth can fuse together and create one big tooth? Well, they can, and have with Leo. Let us examine the evidence.

Exhibit A
Here is my darling little boy smiling. Notice his bottom teeth. He only has three. And they are off center.

Exhibit B
Here is a close up of said smile. Look that the circled tooth. It has a "chip" in it. That is not a chip, in fact that is the gap between his fused teeth.

So yes, he does have all of his front teeth and incisors. The dentist said that he may or may not get another incisor. And that there is nothing to worry about. Not yet anyways. We'll just let nature happen. If there is anything that needs to be done, it'll probably be later, after an x-ray and probably after he gets his adult teeth, if they are still fused together.

Okay, now I see it (them). Hopefully he won't have any problems with them later on. Mom

WOAH!!! That is so crazy!!! How odd but at least his big teeth won't be like that! Bodies are so funny, the things they do. Loved the recap and all the pics of your kids!!!
