Today...

Yep, that's right. It's October 11th, 2008, and I voted! I registered to vote with an absentee ballot, and it came in the mail either yesterday or today (we forgot to check the mail yesterday). So I filled out my ballot and have it all ready to go in the mail on Monday. I'm so use to having the absentee ballot come with a voters pamphlet, but I guess in Utah, they don't do that. So I had to look up the candidates for Utah. Now, I consider myself a Libertarian, but wow, those Libertarians running for Utah office, well they're crazy! So I didn't vote for a one of them! And to be fair, I'm not going to say who I voted for, but I did not stay within party lines. I'll just say that. I really feel like it's my right and my duty to vote. Especially in this Presidential Election. I have taken the time to research each candidate, looked at their voting records, and listen to all three debates so far. I'm sure, that voting before I've seen the forth debate, won't change my mind at all. I'm feel good about who I voted for. Although, Steve is going to throw away his vote and do a write in. How weird is that? But he really doesn't like either major candidate, so he's going to write in for Ron Paul. I like the man too, but I want my vote to really count. Anyways, if you vote by absentee, then do it when you know when you are ready, and if you go to the polls, remember it's November 4th, 2008. You have the right to have your voiced heard! So go and vote, and if you don't vote, then you have no right to complain for the next 4 years!
