It's pretty bad when I do a blog about my dream car. I really should say dream van. That's right. I really want a new minivan. I know that that isn't going to happen anytime soon. We did our budget for the upcoming year based on the average pay, but we don't know exactly what our budget will be. So no new van. But I just wanted to share with everyone my favorite new van. Now, I'm a huge VW person. I have always wanted a VW Bug. Which, we did get when we were first married. Ahh, Betty. I miss you. But when I got pregnant with Zoe, we decided to trade in our beloved Betty to get our Penny, a Nissan Quest. So, while surfing the net last night, I thought I would got to VW's website just to check it out. And I found this: the VW Routan!
It's their first minivan. That makes me so happy! Like I said before, I'm a huge VW fan. And I was sad, when we started a family, that they didn't have a minivan. Because I knew we would need a minivan before we got a short bus for our 7 kids. So, we turned to another foreign carmaker. (We don't care much for American made cars. They just don't last that long and tend to cost a lot in the end. Sorry) We really liked the Toyota Sienna.
Steve's brother has a Sienna, and it was really fun and looked like it could fit three kids and camping stuff. But now that there is a VW minivan, I'm all about that. So, go to www.vw.com to check it out. Watch their video about it. It has Brook Shields in it and it's really funny. And read the credits at the end, super funny! I'm hoping that in the next few years or so, we'll be able to trade in our Penny and get a new van. Name to be announced when we get her!

Like you, we like foreign cars. Even though I don't like Chrysler they have this amazing van that I would love to have someday. It has swivel seats and a table in the middle so the kids or people in the back can play games. It's just awesome and perfect for traveling.
