Kids

Alright, so Leo had is 6 month check up about a week and half ago. He is healthy, but is doing the same thing that Zoe is doing. Yup that's right, he's not growing. He only gained half a pound and grew quarter of an inch since his 4 month check up. Don't worry, his head is just fine. Big, like his brother and sister. So we have to take him in this month to weigh him and then his 8 month check up in October. But we're hoping that he'll follow his sister's footsteps and just be small and keep growing on this lower line (I'm talking about the growth chart graph).
Jake is doing wonderfully with the potty training. We're done to just poop accidents. But the best news ever! On Saturday he went poo poo on the potty! He asked if he could go potty, then a few minutes later started yelling for his dad. Steve went in the bathroom to find poo poo in the potty! We were so happy for Jake! So, pretty much he is potty trained. And we couldn't be happier about it!
Zoe is, well not growing, but developing in leaps and bounds. She is saying new words everyday now. And she is showing interest in the potty. So we're thinking about starting her on potty training. To us, she seems to be getting bigger everyday. I can't believe that she is 2 now.
Kids grow up too fast. In a few short months Jake will be 4. And then a few months after that Leo will be 1. I can't believe that our kids are this old already. Before we know it, Jake is going to be in Kindergarden, Zoe will be in Sunbeams and Leo will be in nursery. And then we'll have another little baby in our home, in Portland (hehehe). Time sure does go by fast. It seems like only yesterday Jake and Zoe were just born. Or they were starting to sit up, or starting to crawl. I remember Zoe having a hard time walking. UGH, where does the time go?
I'm just excited to see how they grow up and what they become. I'm excited to see them in school and be the PTA mom. I really think I have the cutest, sweetest, most wonderful kids ever! But I'm bias. (I would post a picture, but my computer died last week and I lost all my pictures on my computer. And we haven't gotten them back on yet. Or taken any new ones. Sorry)

See what I'm missing! The kids keep growing up and I don't get to see them anymore. Thanks for your encouraging comments on my blog. What a good friend. I remember way back when we first got to know each other as visiting teachers. Take care! Love these blogs for keeping up with you.
