Tag - You're It

I've been tagged, once again. And so I thought instead of putting it off, I should just do it. But first an update. Yesterday, I spent most of the day having really strong contractions that were pretty close together. Since I don't want to go to the hospital and spend 15 hours there (I'm hoping this guy will only be 6 hours of labor or less) and stayed home and prepared to go to the hospital and just relax and whatnot. By about 6ish they had almost gone away. Although I still had one about once an hour or so until I went to sleep. So, I'm hoping that today will be the big day! At least, I feel that it's going to be the big day. But I could be wrong. Plus, our kids are sick, so we aren't going to church and my dad came down yesterday because we thought (when my mom called him) I would be having a baby yesterday. Oh well. Ok, on to the tag. It's just seven interesting things about me. So here we go!
  1. I used to really love pickles. I would get a jar and just have a snack of one or two pickles. Then I got pregnant with Jake, and my pickle carvings got worse. After I had Jake, I couldn't stand to have pickles. Now, I can only have a pickle once in a great while.
  2. For those of you who don't know, there is a 17 year difference between my brother Duane and I. And there are no kids in between. Talk about an oops! And my dad was married before he was married to my mother, and he had two kids with that wife. So my oldest sibling, Brenda, is like 45 or 46. Something like that. And my half-brother, Bill, I have never met. And he has the same birthday as my brother Shell, if he was still alive.
  3. In first grade, I went to 3 different schools. I started out in Gig Harbor for a a third of the year. We moved to Tacoma for a month and I was in school there for that long. Then we moved to Kent, and finished up my first grade year and Springbrook Elementary. So, I have no first grade picture of me at all.
  4. In high school I was an overachiever. I did volleyball, band, softball, flag team, key club, cheer, national honor society, spirit club. I was on the Miss Sunnyside Court my junior year as Third Princess, and I went to Evergreen Girls State. And then my senior year I just did band, flag team captain, and drama. I wanted to do everything and I got burned out by my senior year. But I did get into Western, which is pretty hard to get into, and I wasn't that great in school. I was just short of being in the top 10% of my class.
  5. I'm a convert to the Church. I was baptized on September 9th, 1995. Which, just so happens to be the birthday of one of Steve's nephews.
  6. I usually don't like to watch sports. I'm not that big of a fan and neither is Steve. We'll watch a football game of USU or Ohio States or UW (University of Washington. Go Huskies!!). But when it's time for March Madness, I watch it! I follow my favorite teams and whatnot. I don't know why, but I just love March Madness. And I was so happy that one year I worked for Convergy's and DirecTV let us have March Madness for free that year. I was watching all the games all the time! It was awesome!!!!
  7. I hate calling people on the phone. When we want to order pizza, Steve has to do it. I hate calling anyone other than Steve and my mom. And other person, and I get really scared and nervous. I shake while I'm on the phone with someone I don't know. I would rather text, e-mail, or use Myspace or Facebook to talk to someone. I know, I'm weird.
Ok, that's it. Hope ya'll have learned more about me. So I tag Amiee and Julie. Hope you guys have fun doing this! And let's all hope I have a baby today, or sometime this week!!!
